When I was in elementary school we had a program called DARE (drug abuse resistance education). Yesterday Tiana graduated from NOVA (nurturing opportunity... Darn it, I don't remember the rest, and it's 4:30 in the morning so I'm not going to find out) it is a far greater program now! It teaches kids that it's better to be the "Lone Wolf" (their mascot) than to do what everyone else is doing if it is wrong. They try to help them build confidence and a good self esteem. They had a no electronics week to give the muffs opportunities to find other things to do with their time and to encourage creativity. I'm grateful for these kinds of programs! Good Job T!
