NICU graduation party

Tonight we went to the 30 year Birthday party for the UVRMC NICU.

The kids got to sit in the life flight helicopter

Here is "The Miracle Worker" himself Dr. Steven Minton. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to this man for taking care of Preston and how quickly he helped him be able to come home. THANK YOU, THANK YOU DR. MINTON!

This is Remington, he was Preston's "roommate" for a little while in the NICU. He was born at 25 wks and was only 1 lb. His dad took a picture of him with a dollar bill and it was the same size as him. It was SO great to see that he was doing so well since when we left the hospital 4th of July of last year we had no idea what the future held for those babies and their families. I feel so blessed to have such healthy, happy kids! I love my life and am grateful once again for the opportunity I have to appreciate life and all it's worth!

  1. That's a great picture of Preston, and the other little guy. Sad that he was the same size as a dollar bill. Glad that your little guy is growing strong and healthy, and with all your love. I hope your school is going well, and there's not too much stress. Love you.
