I wanna go church!

Yesterday was a good day! I started out the day the same as most days, NO motivation to go anywhere. Tiana being the great example that she is, said "Mom are you going to church today? Cause I am." How could I argue with that? I still sucked and missed sacrament meeting but I went and dropped her off for class and wanted to drive around so Kaden would go to sleep (since church is 1-4 and he gets very grumpy by the end of the day with no nap) and he started saying "Mommy, I go church too." So I ran a couple movies back to the drop box and he kept asking, so the boys and I went to nursery. Kaden was a sun for Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam, he played with the other kids and toys, sat so good for the lesson and then colored a picture. When we left we were walking down the stairs and I said "Kaden, I love your picture!" Kaden said to me, "Mommy, you so proud of Kaden?" I can't explain to you how much I enjoy my kids. They are the greatest example to me.

Straight from church we went to Nana's. She makes dinner every Sunday for anyone who comes over, She is the greatest mother in the world, I'm still trying to figure out how I got lucky enough to be blessed with her as mine.
After dinner we hung out and the kids put on a show for us. They did a great job! While we were sitting there visiting, Marcus walked up and I started dying laughing, after chasing him around while we were both laughing I finally got a picture. So here it is. He found this outfit in the dress up box. Jimmy and Sam wore lingerie one Halloween for a joke and apparently it got put in the dress ups. It was a great time, as it always is!
Oh WOW Marcus!!!
I'm so glad you are still here with us! We love you and your great personality!
Tristen and Marcus in their... I don't know exactly what it is they're wearing!

  1. Gen- your family is beautiful. Tiana has grown so much. All your good stories made me think of when I first met you and she was so small. A lot has changed eh?

  2. I love that you captured this moment in photos. What a funny moment to remember. This will be excellent blackmail when it comes time to make a wedding video :)

By the way did we remove the lingerie from the dress up bin or are we panning on having a birds and the bees conversation with these kids sometime soon?
